Press send and what you typed drops straight onto a desk inside our Germantown office, where your written rate gets worked up and sent back, usually landing with you before the day is out. Asking for that figure costs you nothing and ties you to nothing — take all the time you need with it, because the call to book or walk away is fully yours. The person putting your quote together is one of our own estimators and nobody else, and what you tell us goes no further than that desk.

Service Terms & Conditions

This page sets out the terms between Andrews Affordable Moving — a licensed household-goods mover working out of Germantown, Tennessee — and you, and they apply both to this website and to every move our crews run. Give them a read before you ask for a quote or book the move, since taking either of those steps is how you agree to everything spelled out here.

What the agreement covers

This document reaches two things at once: the way you use the site, and the moving, packing, and storage work we carry out. That work spans Germantown and the rest of Shelby County, reaches the apartments and condos around East Memphis and Cordova, handles the family homes across Collierville, Bartlett, and Arlington, and stretches past the metro on long-distance hauls.

We are a licensed and insured Tennessee household-goods mover, and every job runs on company-owned trucks staffed by W-2 crews. Brokering the work or handing it down to some other carrier isn’t how we operate — it never has been.

How the figure comes together

Every detail you give us feeds the written number: the two addresses, the floor and stairs at each end, the curb and parking access, anything heavy or oversized, and the date. Inside Shelby County it’s one flat per-truck-and-crew hourly rate with no fuel, stair, or mileage surcharges added on — the estimate you sign is the invoice you pay.

Since the number is built on those facts, a genuine surprise on the day can shift it. Say a staircase never got mentioned, the address changed, or the load turns out half again heavier than described — Marcus pauses the crew, walks you through the revised figure in person, and waits for your okay before a single dolly rolls, rather than slipping a charge on quietly at the curb. And asking for a quote books nothing on its own; the slot is yours only after our office writes back to confirm it.

Holding a date, and letting one go

A move date goes to the household that actually locks it in, not to whoever happened to inquire first. Things change — if your date has to move or come off the books entirely, the sooner you let us know, the better the chance another Shelby County family can pick up the day you’re releasing. Any deposit terms and the exact cancellation rules tied to your particular job live in your quote or your signed move agreement, laid out plainly for you to read — we don’t bury them in fine print down here.

What we rely on from you

  • Give us the honest shape of the move — the room count, the rough weight, and which pieces are awkward to carry
  • Flag the floor, the stairs, the parking limits, and anything fragile or oversized from the outset
  • Handle whatever building, condo, or HOA approval falls beyond the move-in paperwork we set up
  • Keep the path lawful and clear for the crew at both the loading and the unloading ends

If something goes missing or gets damaged

How far our responsibility extends on loss or damage depends on the coverage level you pick and on the federal and state rules tied to it. The free option is released-value coverage, fixing the floor at 60 cents per pound on any item; pay a little above that and full-value coverage steps in, and we carry cargo coverage besides. Any claim has to come to us in writing; for an interstate move, you generally have about nine months from the delivery date to file it.

Take the site as an overview

Read everything on this site as a general account of what we offer; we work to keep it accurate but can’t promise it’s complete or entirely free of mistakes. Don’t put the site to any unlawful use, and don’t try to overload it, break it, or otherwise interfere with how it runs.

Changes to these terms

Now and then, when circumstances call for it, we’ll revise what’s written here. The version live on this page at any given moment is the one that governs your move — so look back when you need to, because the page itself always carries the current wording.
